7,000 square foot farmhouse
with a total of 6 presses ranging from 35 to 150
tons. Within 6 months, they obtained their first
Tier I customer and before the first full year
moved into a modern 15,000 square foot facility.
Having spent the previous decade selling stampings,
the brothers knew that knowledgeable people providing
superior customer service would set them above
their competitors. During their third year an
original employee, Vernon Collett, purchased shares
and became an owner with the brothers. Considering
their notion that people are the company’s
most valuable asset, it is no surprise that, 3
of the original 4 employees are still with the
company.
RKMetals
has enjoyed steady growth over the past decade,
most of this within the automotive and heavy truck
industries. With 20 presses ranging from 35 ton
to 400 ton we typically stamp (steel, copper,
aluminum, brass & stainless) coil materials
from 0.5 mm to 5.0 mm in thickness.
Secondary operations include both, mig & spot
welding, part staking, tapping, riveting and assembly.
Pick up and drop off of outside plating and coating
services occur daily. Part volumes range from
10 to over 5,000,000 pieces annually.
Today,
RKMetals
is located at 3235 Homeward Way in Fairfield,
Ohio on the north side of Cincinnati. The 45,000
